High School Bowlers Advance
to Semi-State Competition

Indianapolis, Indiana – The Pendleton Heights boys' team and the Noblesville girls' team claimed the title of Regional champs on February 10 at Cooper's Stardust Bowl in Noblesville. These teams will be advancing to the Richmond Semi-State at the Richmond 40 Bowl on February 17.  Other boys' teams advancing include Anderson Highland, Shelbyville and Roncalli.  Other girls' teams advancing include Anderson, Lawrence North and Roncalli.

            Individual Regional Champs are Issac Ratcliff of Greenwood for the boys and Robin Noland of Anderson for the girls. Please see the list at the end of this release for other individual bowlers advancing with their schools and their series scores.

Semi-State competition will begin at 9 a.m. with teams bowling first and individual competition directly following at 2 p.m. Admission is $6 for students and $8 for adults. Children six and under are admitted free.

The Indiana High School Bowling program is sponsored by the Indiana Bowling Centers Association, Inc. and bowling centers throughout Indiana. During the 2006-2007 season, 99 bowling centers throughout 20 conferences sponsored 170 schools for a total of 319 boys and girls teams.
